About EDIT
EDIT Platform provides technology that enables independent food businesses to operate their own direct digital ordering channel. EDIT is not a consumer marketplace or restaurant directory.
Merchant service
The merchant subscription is £19.99 per month and EDIT charges 0% commission on food sales. Payment processing charges from connected payment providers may apply separately under their own terms. Merchant-specific arrangements may also be recorded in a separate service agreement.
Orders and fulfilment
The relevant food business is responsible for its menu, pricing, availability, acceptance, preparation, delivery or collection, customer service and legal obligations relating to food sales. Customers should contact that business about a specific order in the first instance.
Payments
Food-order payments are intended to be processed through the food business’s connected payment account and paid to that business. EDIT does not take a percentage of the food sale. Payment providers may charge separate processing fees.
Customer service fee
A £0.50 EDIT service fee may be added to eligible customer orders placed through an EDIT-powered ordering service. Where it applies, the fee should be shown to the customer before the order is confirmed. Further information is available in the Service Fee Policy.
Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful content or use the service in a way that harms other users or businesses.
Availability and changes
EDIT aims to provide a reliable service, but availability may occasionally be affected by maintenance, connectivity, payment providers or other factors. Features and these terms may be updated as the service develops.
